soil preparation: chicken tractors

Look how Ashley's chickens are tearing up turf in preparation for a new garden in the spring. We love our Suskovitch tractors all year 'round; in summer are covered with tarps for shade, and in winter we cover them with 6 mil plastic sheeting to make little sliding greenhouses for the chickens.
