toxic forages: what experience says

Thursday night was a pasture walk with the Eastern Ohio Grazing Council. I happened to ask two experienced graziers if they had ever seen a case where they were sure an animal's death had been the result of consuming a toxic forage.

The answer was the same in both cases: "Never."

Neither have we. Toxic = medicinal. Wouldn't want to farm without them.

Hemp dogbane, whick is NOT toxic.
