cold day, hot chili
We thouroughly enjoyed a weekend workshop with Steve and Brenda, Michelle and Dean, homesteaders from Lancaster County, PA. Coming in cold from a morning of looking at water systems, pastures, and high tunnels, cornbread and chili (featuring pork left over from our pig roast of the week before) was just what was wanted, and gave us the impetus to go back out and spend the afternoon moving fences, studying livestock, and talking about stockpiled winter forage.
