Peripatetic Prayers

Please keep us in your prayers!  On the Friday after Thanksgiving, we head out with our daughter Anna, grandson Cael, and three other extended family members, to walk the Camino de Santiago from Porto, Portugal, to Compostela, Spain.  Tracing the path of St. James the greater, apostle, when his body was brought to the Iberian peninsula after his beheading by Herod, this has been a pilgrimage way for centuries.

We’ll be gone almost three weeks, which is earth-shaking, since we haven’t been off the farm anywhere near so long in decades.  Fortunately, there will be lots of family still at home to do the (as streamlined as possible) chores. We go to pray for our family, including some very special intentions; for land access for would-be homesteaders; and for the world.  Do you have any special prayers you would like us to carry with us?  Send them as a reply to this post, and we’ll add them to our intentions as we walk.
