a long thank-you: bad drawings
It is our intention to translate the CAD drawings of our farmhouse rebuild into post-able pictures, but, in the meantime, here are our bad drawings of the general plan for the basement, where we process milk as it comes into the house:
- bottom right: milk room sink, with racks above and below for buckets, milk cans, cleaning supplies, etc. Very, very simple - just hot and cold running water, ordinary dish soap, and racks for things to dry on
- bottom left: windows in the SW corner of the basement, with bench below for seedling trays. Warning: it seems modern windows filter out UV, and we may not be able to start seedlings here. Sounds like we'll have to prioritize the greenhouse rebuild.
- Left center: coat racks, storage.
- Left top: basic floor plan elevation.
- Right top: more storage for outdoor clothes. We wear a lot of layers in the winter.
So, what do you think? Suggestions? We hope soon to post pictures of the real thing - the basement is closed, and the new sink (used farmhouse sink: $40) is sitting on saw horses; the pressure tank is in, and I ran a hose from it today to water nursery perennials.
