homestead skills festival, May 26 & 27

Ticket sales are open for the Healing Land Homesteading Skills Festival -- from basic butchering to whole-hog charcuterie, from raising chickens to putting them in the freezer, from gardening to pickling and canning, dairying, butter and cheese making, this is the event if you have any interest in food independence, homesteading, or just good country living.

On charcuterie will be our friends Doug and Andy from Hand Hewn from nearby Knox county. Sign up for their one of their workshops and you can get your hands on the tools, or just join the crowd and learn on the sidelines.

Come out on Memorial Day weekend for a whole weekend of food independence fun!
