The homesteading event of 2021

See you in VA in October!

If you were at the Homesteaders of America event in TN last weekend, you know already what a great success it was. For homesteaders, small family farmers, and anyone who wants to grow his own food from the ground up, this was without exception the most information- and experience-packed two days we've seen anywhere. From butchering chickens and rabbits (hands-on), to milking a cow and planning her grazing year, foraging for wild food and medicinal plants, getting into a bee hive, canning, homestead/schooling, and other things too numerous to mention, this was an event for folks really committed to the idea that food should be local and land should be stewarded.

And not one but two fabulous country music concerts (the event was at the home farm of singer/songwriter Rory Feek) to remind us that beauty and story are why we're here in the first place.

Run, don't walk, to book tickets for the Homesteaders of America event in VA, and be sure tosign up early for the TN event next year.
